Testimonial Tuesday: I'm Still Here

Over Memorial Day Weekend, we were at the West Palm Beach Tattoo Mania Convention. We were honored to meet so many amazing people from all walks of life, all in different situations, but one in particular stuck out to me.

We were approached by a man and his longtime partner. This man was in a wheelchair, both arms in casts, and both legs looked as though the just came out of casts. He could not walk. We began to tell him what we were about and what we stand for and that we try to motivate people to live their lives without regret and that it could always be worse. This man had such an outlook on life. He truly believed that it COULD have been worse for him. He was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident, but he lived..in his words, "I may be here, (meaning his wheelchair) but I'm still here"...Truly inspiring to me and everyone to know and feel that someone truly believes in those words. What an amazing person.

So for all of you out there who are in a "woe is me" kind of mood...take a long hard look at your life, look at all the blessings around you, the simple things, be thankful for everything and know that someone, somewhere, woke up in a far worse situation than you did. I COULD always be worse...
