Boston on Labor Day weekend once again...

Okay folks, Fukitt is heading out this weekend to vend at the Boston Tattoo Convention once again! It will be our second year attending this event and we are excited to see what this year has to offer us! Last year we were met with a lot, and I mean a lot of folks who were compelled to tell us their stories of how suicide touched their lives. More so than at any other event. Not sure if it's a demographic thing or what, but we were surprised to hear all the stories that came out of Boston. In the wake of such tragedies the past few weeks, I am hoping we get to hear lots of stories of triumph...

A sad week, but ending it with love...

I truly didn't want to get on the "bandwagon" and write something about what everyone I'm sure figured I would write about, considering what we do for a living and what Fukitt is all about, after the suicide of actor/comedian Robin Williams. I didn't want to "glorify" something so tragic and give any more attention to it than what was already given online, on television, etc., etc, however, for those of you who don't know, in our hometown, a young man, who was loved by so many, took his own life only a few days after the loss of Robin Williams.  I personally did not know this young man, I knew of him, his name and would recognize his face,...

Wild time in WIldwood, NJ

So, okay, it really wasn't a wild time, but I like the way the title sounded! Anyway, this past weekend was the WIldwood Tattoo Bash, as well as the Southern Maryland Crab and Beer Fest...We split our team and did them both, which turned out to be an exciting, fun, long weekend with, for me at least, lots of hours driving!  First, the main man headed South to Wildwood early Friday morning to begin the typical 3 day tattoo event. Everything seemed to be going smoothly there, other than the hotel being, well, let's just say sub-par...LOL..(So glad I wasn't staying there)! Then at the butt crack of dawn (5:00 a.m.) my sister in law and I left for our...

A weekend in Brooklyn...

Last weekend Fukitt Clothing was vending at the Urban Tattoo Convention in Brooklyn. I didn't have the pleasure of going, but my husband and sister in law went and I got to hear all their stories... Though Brooklyn may have a stigma of being a rough neighborhood, it has always shown Fukitt a lot of love and respect and we always seem to find it filled with some truly amazing people! The event was filled with celebrities in the tattoo industry, Al Fliction put the show on, some of you may know him from the hit TV show Ink Masters, Al always supports our brand and rocked a tank on the first day, some of the crew from Black Ink...
